During the past decades, PLC has been widely used in the field of automation. However, as the technology continues to evolve, the conventional PLC gradually cannot meet the rising demand. Therefore, the new generation of industrial controllers - Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) - that combine the functionality of PC and the reliability & stability of PLC was introduced into the market. PAC is a Win CE embedded system with fanless design. It is not only has the features of PC such as multifunction system, network and VGA, PAC also keep PLC ¡¥s high stability and reliability, therefore is an ideal product that integrates PC and PLC. Compared to PLC; PAC is with more I/O points, easy-to-use control software and network integration function that can dramatically reduce the cost. Users is able to perform operations in a PC-like environment, easily achieve multiple design and increase machine efficiently , and will still be able to maintain stability and reliability. |

ICP DAS¡¦s new released EzProg-I software for PAC machine system can provide users an easy and intuitive development environment. Users do not need a strong background in programming, and is able to rapidly build and design machine automation applications - even faster and more stable than under the PLC environment. Moreover, it could easily transfer PLC ladder language into eVC + + language. EzProg - I provides a wide range of functions, it simplifies the development process, offers a unified interface, reduces programming effort, achieve multi-functional system function and enable the users to design their own human-machine interfaces. For the PLC users, not only they can reduce both time cost and real costs, but they can also move from the PLC world to the PC world, therefore be able to create more value. |
