DeviceNet is one kind of the network protocols based on the CAN bus and mainly used for embedded network for machine control, such as Industrial machine control , Aircraft engines, Factory automation, medical equipment, off-road vehicles, or packaging machines, etc. ICP DAS provides the DeviceNet library (PISOCANDNM.DLL) for PISO-CAN200/400. This toolkit can help users to establish the connection with DeviceNet slave devices easily and reduce the development time. The general application architecture is depicted as the following figure.
