Introduction:
The ECAT-2072A is an EtherCAT slave that functions as an absolute encoder master. It provides two independent channels and supports two serial transmission interfaces: SSI (Serial Synchronous Interface) and BiSS-C (BiSS Continuous Mode, unidirectional). The ECAT-2072A supports a maximum transmission frequency of 10 MHz and up to 48 bits of transmission data (including error, warning and CRC bits in BiSS-C mode). In BiSS-C mode, it automatically compensates for cable delays. The maximum supported cable length is 70 meters.
