Introduction:
The (P)ET-2242U-32 is a PoE-enabled version of the ET-2242U. It supports both DC and PoE power supply options. Both models share the same hardware specifications and firmware. Customers can choose between PET-2242U-32 version with PoE + DC power supply, or the ET-2242U-32 version with only DC power supply, depending on their application needs.
The (P)ET-2242U-32 is an IP-based Ethernet I/O monitoring and control module that provides a variety of digital I/O functions. It can be remotely operated over a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network using the Modbus TCP/UDP protocol.
The module supports DI-to-DO pair-connection over the Ethernet. Once configured, it continuously reads the status of remote DI channels and then write the corresponding values to local DO devices via the Modbus TCP protocol.
