Introduction:
The (P)ET-2224CI and (P)ET-2228CI are 4/8-channel analog output modules featuring channel-to-channel isolation. Each analog output channel can be individually configured with output ranges, including 0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V, 4 to 20 mA, and 0 to 20 mA. The modules support voltage or current outputs via software configuration. Additional features include programmable AO power-on and safe values, as along with open-wire detection for each 4 to 20 mA output channel. These modules comply with the IEC 61000-4-3 standard for RF (Radiated, radio-frequency) immunity and provides EMS (EFT/ESD/Surge) protection with 3000 VDC I/O isolation to enhance noise immunity in industrial environments.
Additionally, the modules support I/O Pair-Connection, enabling AI-to-AO data pairing with a remote module over Ethernet. Once configured, remote AI data can be written to local AO channels in Pull mode using Modbus TCP.
The (P)ET-2224CI and (P)ET-2228CI also support the MQTT protocol, functioning as both a message publisher and subscriber. When connected to an MQTT Broker Server, the module can publish real-time I/O statuses as topics and receive subscribed messages. If the connection between the module and the broker is interrupted, the automatic reconnection mechanism will restore it. Additionally, the Keep-Alive Interval ensures a stable and continuous connection with the broker.
