UA-2241 Series Release New Version V1.4.6.0:
The UA-2241 series IIoT Communication Server releases the new version of V1.4.6.0. This version enhances the security protection mechanism, including the Firewall Whitelist function, which allows only specific IP or range of IPs of devices to connect to the UA to prevent unknown IP connections. In addition, the OPC UA Server adds new security policies and improves certificate content to enhance communication security. New Functions:
1. Add the Firewall Whitelist to improve the information security protection mechanism The Firewall Whitelist function allows users to edit the list of allowed connections, specifying devices with a particular IP or range of IPs that can connect to the UA, preventing unknown IP connections and protecting the security of the UA.
2. Added 3 new security policies for the OPC UA Server to strengthen the Server Security
OPC UA Server security policy adds three latest specifications to provide more secure mechanisms:
• Basic256Sha256
• Aes128-Sha256-RsaOaep
• Aes256-Sha256-RsaPss
3. Optimize Server Certificate generation and improve verification and security
The Certificate generation setting now adds IP information and supports RsaSha256 signature to improve the certificate verification and security.
4. Add a System Log function to help analyze problems encountered in UA operation
The System Log function regularly records the TCP connection status of UA and the online status of connected MQTT Broker in the project. Users can download the Syslog files to help analyze communication or environmental problems encountered when running UA.
